Some children arrive hungry. Some arrive sick. Some arrive with nothing but the clothes they are wearing — and no one left to claim them.

Lift Kids Haiti is honored to support Foyer D’Action Pour L’Avenir, an orphanage founded in 2006 by Comita Augustine, a woman who answered God’s call to open her home and her heart to the most vulnerable children. What began as an act of obedience became a family. Comita gathered children who were sick, malnourished, and abandoned, committing her life to raising them into strong, healthy young men and women.

Some children come to the orphanage for only a short season, while others were left on Comita’s doorstep as infants with no family information at all. No matter their story, every child is welcomed as family. Comita provides love, stability, education, food, clothing, and daily teaching from the Word of God — offering not just care, but belonging and hope.
